Kaleter — Grain in Ear

As the calendar turns to Grain in Ear (Mangzhong) — one of the traditional farming seasons of early summer — the fields fill with activity. It is a season of both gathering and sowing: harvesting ripe grain with one hand and planting new seedlings with the other, where cultivation and harvest meet.

The south wind carries the summer's heat and the first plum rains arrive, with wheat to harvest, grain to dry, and late rice to transplant. From all of us at Kaleter, here's to a busy summer well spent — and an autumn harvest full of joy.
