Cage-free welfare farming has taken another step forward, and Kaleter continues to help Dalian Lvxue upgrade and expand its egg production base. The third-phase cage-free layer project that Kaleter is building for Dalian Lvxue is now in its final stage. It is expected to start production in November 2026 and will add 20,000 cage-free laying hens. Once phase three is running, the total cage-free layer flock at Dalian Lvxue's Pulandian base will reach 50,000 birds.

The two companies are long-term partners, and this is not their first project together. In September 2024, for Dalian Lvxue's second-phase cage-free layer project, Kaleter built a complete intelligent cage-free system for the Pulandian base. The base stocked 22,000 laying hens.
With Kaleter's complete cage-free equipment, the flock has plenty of room to move. The birds can walk, flap their wings and perch freely, following their natural behaviour. The system combines intelligent climate control, automatic feeding, automatic egg collection and automatic manure removal. It balances animal welfare, production efficiency and environmental requirements, and helps Dalian Lvxue build a supply chain of high-quality cage-free eggs.

China's layer industry is moving toward higher welfare, more automation and more standardization, and cage-free production has become an important direction for the industry. Kaleter has worked in cage-free livestock equipment for many years. It focuses on custom cage-free equipment packages and complete engineering services for egg producers, and its equipment helps egg companies upgrade their operations.
Kaleter will keep improving its cage-free equipment. We will work with more egg producers to move China's welfare layer industry steadily forward.
